Howlite is an extremely calming stone. It is good for insomnia when placed under the pillow. It also helps to formulate and achieve ambitions, teaches patience and helps to eliminate rage and uncontrolled anger. Howlite stills the mind and can calm turbulent emotions. It is often dyed as seen in some of the pieces below.
